Micro Station Anaylser

The Micro-SA provides centralized monitoring, management, and analysis for a pump system consisting of up to 12 pumps in parallel. Serving as an IoT edge device, it oversees multiple Micro-PM pump units, integrating via Modbus TCP protocol. There are multiple operation modes, to suit client cybersecurity protocols. Choose between Local only, Local-Cloud, and Cloud only. The local operation mode can be augmented with an HMI. For remote connectivity, the Internet version utilizes wired, cellular, or satellite communication to transmit data to a cloud for advanced processing and analysis.

Benefits:

  • Detect potential savings in energy costs of typically 10 – 30%.

  • Act on data to program maintenance interventions months ahead.

  • Reduce mechanical deterioration by flagging when pumps are running out of acceptable operational ranges.

  • Constant access to pump performance indicators

Key features and functionalities:

  • The Micro-SA is an advanced analytics tool that provides actionable insights into existing PLC/SCADA systems, or serves as a standalone interface for stations where PLC/SCADA is unavailable.

  • Local IoT Device: When paired with an HMI, the Micro-SA transforms into a locally advanced monitoring unit, providing easy access to data analytics and the status of all connected MicroPM units.

  • Data Collection and Integration: It aggregates data from multiple MicroPM pump units into a single database, simplifying successive integrations with PLC/SCADA systems.

  • Embedded Web Pages: Password-protected web pages allow access to detailed data analytics and status information for each Micro-PM unit. These can be accessed locally or remotely via network-enabled devices like tablets or phones, ensuring flexibility and accessibility.

  • Functionality: Beyond monitoring, the Micro-SA supports logging, reporting, and calculating operational parameters at the station level. It also includes a scheduler for optimizing pump usage based on station demand and cost considerations.

  • Maintenance and Decision Support: Provides comparison functionalities against manufacturers or reference data, aiding in decisions related to pump maintenance, refurbishment, or replacement.

  • Expandability: It is designed to accommodate installations of varying sizes, from a few pumps to potentially many, without practical limits.

  • Optional accelerometers and sensors can be added to monitor the vibration of pumps connected to it, enhancing its operational versatility.

  • Optional motor condition monitoring (Faraday Predictive S200).
